The imager sensor selected to fly on BLUEsat is the colour CMOS IBIS4 from FillFactory. This sensor chip has flown in space before, and this is a primary reason for it's selection. A BE thesis has already been completed on the topic (available to members on the Thesis Projects page), however no hardware has yet been constructed. This is a challenging project for interested engineers.
